torchwood100Summary: Ianto is troubled by his teammate's behaviour. A double drabble.
Jack was interrupted by the gentle knock at his door. He looked up to see a pensive Ianto standing there. ‘Ianto Jones, what can I do for you?’
Ianto stepped forward. ‘Actually, it’s not necessarily what you can do for me sir. It’s what you can do for Tosh.’
Jack raised an eyebrow. ‘What do you mean?’
‘She’s just… I think there’s something up with her. She’s not been herself these past few days. First she seemed really happy and now it’s like there’s something really bothering her. Not that she’s said as much. You know how Tosh is.’
Jack hummed and nodded. ‘She’s not the only one that likes to keep her innermost thoughts to herself. Owen isn’t being mean to her again, is he?’
Ianto sighed, wishing Tosh didn't have a crush on Owen who was totally oblivious to her feelings and, in Inato’s opinion, totally undeserving of them. ‘No more than usual. Not to mention he’s currently busy having a thing with Gwen, but I'm not sure whether Tosh knows about it yet.’
‘Ah, so you know too.’
‘They’ve not exactly hidden it.’
‘I’ve had my suspicions about Tosh, too. I’ll keep an eye on her.’
