‘Oh,’ Gwen cried, hand covering her mouth. ‘I wasn’t expecting that.’
Jack chuckled, huge grin plastered over his face. ‘I love it. You can take the boy out of the Valleys…’
‘But you can’t stop the Valleys from wanting to punch the living shit out of someone slagging off his wife,’ Ianto finished, sounding uncharacteristically impressed.
Rhys came back over, wincing as he shook his wrist, massaging the knuckles with his good hand. ‘Hurts like a bastard hitting someone that hard.’
‘He had it coming,’ Jack assured him. ‘And I used to think Gwen was the one not to double-cross.’
