‘Ah, just look at it,’ Jack said, staring around the front living room with a dreamy smile on his face. ‘It has a certain charm, don’t you think?’
Ianto gave it one judicious glance and then frowned. ‘I suspect I’m not seeing it through the same historical lens as you,’ he replied. Even if he’d lived in it twenty years ago, he didn’t think he could ever describe the falling down terrace as charming. Just another one of Jack’s many real estate purchases that had since gone to pot through neglect and disuse.
‘It’s a safe house, not Buckingham Palace.’
