drabble_zoneSummary: Not everyone lives for the weekend. A double drabble.
‘Just another bunch of Saturday night crazies,’ Owen muttered, dragging the last of the unconscious, retcon induced victims safely into three back of someone's minivan come party bus. Perhaps they hadn't all started the night in three party bus, but he doubted any one them would find it strange that their night had ended there.
‘At least it wasn't killer zombies this time,’ Ianto said, picking up the feet of a pimply teenager whilst Owen grabbed him under the armpits, adding him to the collective.
‘Any weekend without zombies is good by me,’ Owen agreed, sliding shut the sliding door.
Jack just shook his head at the pair of them. ‘Come on, life would be dull without a little Saturday night zombie action.’ He genuinely looked excited by the prospect which only convinced Owen even more that their boss was completely mental. ‘Come Monday it'll be back to dull tasks and even duller paperwork. Torchwood lives for the weekend.’
Ianto pulled a handkerchief from his pocket and wiped stale beer and smushed, partially vomited chips from his shoe; the victims of St Mary's Street clubbers and rebel rousers. ‘I'll take paperwork any day of the week. Monday's are the best.’
