Summary: Jack's team are causing him headaches. A double drabble.
‘Race you!’
‘No fair! You had a head start!’
Jack was nearly knocked over by the pair of them as they whipped past him. ‘Hey! What did I say about no running in the hub?’ He turned a baleful glare in the opposite direction. ‘Gwen!’
She threw her hands up as she perched on the chair in front of her computer. ‘Don’t look at me. I’m not your babysitter. You wanted me to find a solution, remember?’
‘Owen! You put that down!’ Jack barked, his attention once again drawn to the unfolding chaos. Jack groaned. ‘Kids!’
Ianto sidled up beside him. ‘You know, I always pictured you as the cool parent who let the kids get away with bloody murder.’
‘Except they’re not kids,’ Jack seethed.
‘Nope, just adults who’ve been mentally regressed to the age of children,’ he replied, watching Tosh and Owen resume their mad game of tag, flying up the spiral staircase and slamming the glass boardroom door harder than was necessary. ‘I don’t think yelling at them is working as well as you hoped.’
‘What do you want me to do? They could get hurt.’
‘I find the offer of food and free money usually works.’
