Summary: Ianto isn't pleased about Jack's willingness to help. A double drabble.
Jack spared a look across the room where Ianto was doing his level best to avoid making eye contact, pretending he was busy working even though Jack could read from here that all he was typing was utter nonsense.
‘He's gone, you know,’ Jack finally said. ‘You can stop being jealous or angry or whatever it is.’
Ianto gave a shape rap of the enter key before huffing out a breath and finally looking in Jack's direction. ‘I still don't understand why you agreed to help him. He's a–’
‘Yeah, yeah I've heard all the words before,’ Jack said, cutting off Ianto's extensive thesaurus of descriptors and feelings about John Hart. ‘He was desperate.’
‘Evidently,’ came the hard-hitting one word reply.
Jack sighed. ‘I get that he could have gone anywhere for help but he came here. The best way to get him gone was to give him what he needed.’
‘A blow job from Jack Harkness and fifty virgins?’
‘If it had been that simple he'd have been gone days ago,’ Jack replied, hoping Ianto would see the funny side. Unfortunately he didn't.
‘Next time he wants three days of spanking and dildos he'll get my loaded gun instead.’
