Owen briefly looked up from his medical charts as Ianto entered the room. ‘How’s our patient doing?’ he asked, knowing that Ianto would have just come from the infirmary where Jack had been on the slow path to recuperation after a particularly nasty altercation that had left him grievously wounded but not killed, forced to heal the good old fashioned way, albeit at Jack’s naturally speedy healing pace.
‘I think he’s actually enjoying it,’ Ianto replied.
‘You’re joking, right?’ Jack was the worst patient of all.
‘Now that he can eat jelly all day, and has been, he’s in heaven.’
