Jack drummed his fingers on the dashboard of the truck, wondering why he’d ever volunteered himself to be here. Because you’re the boss and you thought supervising was the best job whilst the team gets to do all the hard work, he thought, answering his own question.
‘You almost never see eighteen wheelers with this kind of fuel efficiency,’ Rhys prattled on. He’d been in the carbon with Jack espousing the merits of various trucks for the past hour and it was beginning to grate on Jack’s nerves, not to mention being boring as hell.
Well, being the boss was tough.
