Summary: Jack isn't going to stand for being mistreated. A double drabble.
Ianto was making a hasty exit from Jack’s office after dropping off his afternoon coffee, but he wasn’t nearly hasty enough. ‘Ianto!’ Jack yelled, even though at this distance it was totally unnecessary. ‘Get back here.’
Ianto turned on his heel and slowly closed the gap, opting for the coy routine, even if they both knew it wouldn’t work. ‘Is there something else you needed, sir?’
Jack pushed his mug across the desk, back in Ianto’s direction. ‘I think we both know the answer to that one, don’t you?’
‘I’m not sure–’
‘Don’t toy with me, Ianto Jones,’ Jack said, scowling at his general support officer, unimpressed at the way he thought he could just do what he liked in defiance of his immediate superior. ‘You can't fool this nose. I know decaf when I smell it, no matter how you try to disguise it with perfectly frothed milk. I don’t care what it is you think I've done to deserve it or why you think it’s your job to mete out punishment, but let me be clear: I want a real coffee or there are going to be consequences.’
Ianto scowled back, and reluctantly took the mug. ‘Yes, sir.’
