Summary: Ianto misjudged just how potent alien substances can be. A double drabble.
‘Shtooped barsterd,’ Ianto mumbled as he kept his handkerchief pinched around his nose, throwing disparaging glances in Owen’s general direction. Not that it made much of a difference to Owen, slumped unconscious back on the sofa. ‘I dink he bode my doze.’
Jack grimaced at the bright red stain soaking the thin fabric. ‘Pinch it a bit harder?’ Ianto did so without wincing. ‘Nope, not broken,’ Jack confirmed. ‘That would’ve hurt like hell if it was.’
‘How buch did you gid him?’ Ianto asked, forcing Jack to translate.
‘Not enough to put him out for the entire time it’s going to take for the effects of the pollen to wear off,’ Jack replied. He didn’t like sedating his team at the best of times, and definitely no longer than was absolutely necessary. ‘I did warn you not to needle him,’ Jack said, remiding Ianto that the punch he received was of his own making.
‘I dort he was bedder,’ Ianto replied, switching his bright red handkerchief for a fresh wad of gauze.
‘That pollen turns up all your anger to twelve,’ Jack replied. ‘At least until it wears off.’
‘Ebsaptly,’ Ianto replied. ‘Wid Owen how could you dell the diverence?’
