‘What do you call a whole heap of these things?’ Gwen asked, doing her level best to corral the pair that were trying to make an escape from her side of the temporary barrier.
‘A pain in the arse?’ Owen replied, looking dishevelled from an earlier close encounter with the rather sharp horns each of the alien beasts had protruding from its head.
‘No, I mean, is it a flock or a herd, or a swarm or a shoal…’
‘Swarms relate to creatures that fly and shoals are for aquatic creatures,’ Ianto added. ‘But I agree with Owen for once.’
