Summary: Jack likes to makes everything an adventure, even if his team don't think the same. A double drabble.
‘Still can’t believe he was riding that thing,’ Ianto said, having moved from exhilarated joy at the sight of his boyfriend on the back of a space octopus, hurtling through the ocean like a bucking bronco, to a despondent jealousy that he hadn’t returned for hours.
‘You know Jack…’ Gwen replied, trying hard not to get drawn into Ianto’s jealous mood. ‘Everything has to be an adventure.’
‘Or just showing off,’ came the glum reply.
Gwen had used those exact same words earlier. Maybe it was exciting for Jack, but the two of them stuck on a boat waiting for hours, wasn’t. It was only made worse by Ianto’s darkening mood as the hours wore on. He really was the jealous type, Gwen was discovering.
‘What do you imagine their planet must be like?’ Gwen asked, trying to give them something to talk about whilst waiting. ‘All blue oceans and pristine tropical beaches, just swimming around?’
‘Probably just one long tentacled sex party,’ Ianto moaned. ‘Twenty thousand orgasms under the sea. Jack must be loving it.’
‘Oh, you are in a mood, aren’t you? It’s okay when it’s you two being adventurous…’
‘I’m not jealous! He’s just taking bloody ages!’
