Summary: Torchwood's latest guest has forgotten her manners. A double drabble.
‘Go away and leave me alone!’ The words were emphatic and couldn’t be misinterpreted. Jack winced at them as the door slammed in his face, leaving him standing on the other side, looking and feeling stupid.
Ianto managed a smirk as Jack reappeared from the hallway. ‘Just when I was convinced that there wasn’t a sentient creature in the entire universe that was completely resistant to your charms.’
‘I was being nice!’ Jack replied. ‘More than nice.’
‘I’m sure you were,’ he said. ‘She’s been like that with everyone so far. Offers of blankets and food and a friendly ear had all been objected to. Quite rudely in most cases. Makes Owen look like Miss Manners.’
Jack sighed, casting a look back over his shoulder at the closed door. ‘Well, give her time to calm down. I guess it can’t be easy to be marooned someplace unfamiliar.’
‘Or it could just be the teenage hormones kicking in. She is a teenager, isn’t she?’ With aliens it was always tricky to tell.
‘Best guess,’ Jack said. ‘Of course, once she’s had time to collect herself and realise we’re here to help, if she’s still snotty, I'll put her over my knee.’
