A labyrinthine mass of hallways and spaces
Darkness and gloom and other cold places
So many rooms untouched and abandoned
Places to hide for those who are commanded.
One corner where evil and darkness resides
Machines, computers and other besides
Put there with intent to keep one alive
One sole survivor, the last of their hive.
Alone stands a man, his heart filled with love
His soulmate kept hidden from those far above
A metal monster is all most would see
His lover is trapped and longs to be free.
Healing is hard and the pain is so strong
The question is always how much and how long
He shall never give up whilst both of them live
This one life he has is all he can give.
No one can know what goes on down below
Death for them both as the last fatal blow.
