‘Your favourite repeat offender is at it again and needs to be paid a visit,’ Ianto said, slipping a file under Owen's nose.
Owen took one look at the name on the file and groaned. ‘Sodding Bernie Harris. Hasn't someone done him in yet?’
‘People tend to take pity on the intellectually challenged.’
‘Shame,’ Owen replied. ‘Course, he's so thick that he'd probably bungle his way out of an offing. What's he done this time?’
‘Bribing local school kids ten quid each to see if they can snap a picture of "sewer monsters" and then trying to flog the photos to the newspapers for a hundred quid each. Last thing we need is kids disturbing the local weevil population for some quick cash.’
‘And what do you suppose me going to visit Bernie is gonna do?’
‘Though you might let him visit us for a change. Maybe leave him in a cell next to Janet for a few hours and scare the living shit out of him so he thinks twice before sending kids to do his dirty work.’
Owen grinned. ‘You know what, Ianto? I think that would just make my day. Nothing like a good dose of recidivism.’
