‘Nice guy, this old partner of yours,’ Ianto commented as Jack watched him inventory the large silver platter full of weaponry, cataloguing each before sealing them in the armoury for safekeeping.
‘Do I detect a tone?’
‘Nope,’ Ianto answered a little too quickly. ‘Just a casual observation.’
Jack heaved a sigh and leaned back against the central counter. ‘We have history,’ he explained. ‘It's long and complicated.’
Ianto pulled back the slide on a particularly nasty looking gun, locating the button to release the clip, emptying it of all its bullets. ‘Everything with you is long and complicated,’ he replied.
