Summary: Rhys has a right to be mad. A double drabble.
Gwen expected Rhys to be mad at her. It was no less than she deserved for having skipped out on him three days in a row, promising for the last two of them that she would make an appearance at home, and maybe even in time for dinner. So far though, Jack, and work, had kept her from doing anything more than making a few phone calls, and a sprinkling of paltry excuses.
If she was honest with herself, she loved the job and there was a little part of her that wished she never had to go home. There was always something more to discover when she was with Jack, and she worried that by going home and spending time with Rhys, that she might miss something, or worse, that Jack might forget about her and take off with Ianto to enjoy all the excitement without her.
Then again, no one knew better than Gwen just how mad Rhys could get. It wasn’t scary like when Jack was mad; it was a silent brooding anger that resulted in pillows and blankets left in the hallway for her.
Still, she also knew Rhys would always forgive her no matter what.
