Jack leaned back in his chair as his morning coffee arrived on cue. ‘That’s a new shirt and tie combination,’ he said, appraising the man who carried his morning brew.
Ianto didn't even blush. ‘I thought I'd experiment a bit. Keep things fresh. You never know who you might need to impress.’
‘Well, consider me impressed,’ Jack replied. ‘I knew there was a reason I hired you.’
Ianto quirked an eyebrow at him. ‘Not for my above average intelligence, deductive reasoning powers or my scintillating conversational skills?’
‘Nope. Just that your arse looks great in that pinstripe charcoal three piece.’
