Summary: Ianto knows Jack simply can't be trusted sometimes. A double drabble.
'Promise me,' Ianto said, fixing Jack with a hard glare that brooked no argument.
Jack just stood there and looked at him defiantly, unable to speak the words Ianto wanted to hear. It didn't surprise him in the least, to be honest.
'We can either do this the hard way or the easy way,' Ianto told him. 'If you can't be trusted not to touch the coffee machine while I'm not here, I'll have it dismantled and hidden away in the archives so that you can't be tempted. Alternatively, you can learn to live without my coffee for three whole days.'
'I don't like it when people give me ultimatums,' Jack said, scowling at his lover.
'I wouldn't have to give you an ultimatum if I thought I could trust you to behave when I'm not here,' he replied.
'You really think I'd mess with your coffee machine?'
'Yes, I do as a matter of fact. Maybe not on day one, but by days two and day three you'll be getting desperate,' Ianto said. 'I know you, Jack Harkness. Nothing gets between you and coffee.'
Jack's jaw clenched, teeth clearly grinding inside, wishing he could deny and knowing he couldn't.
