‘That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard,’ Owen said, pulling a face at Gwen across the boardroom table.
Gwen’s gaze hardened. ‘Just because I have a different point of view on it doesn't make it stupid.’
‘I think it's useful to have differing perspectives,’ Tosh said, trying to play peacemaker. ‘That’s what makes us more effective at solving problems. Isn't that why Jack brought us together in the first place?’
Owne snorted. ‘Yeah, except Jack’s not here now, is he? Besides, he only ever listened to everyone's "differing" perspectives and then did whatever the bloody hell he wanted to anyway.’
