torchwood100Summary: In a tight spot, Ianto will use whatever he has to hand. A double drabble.
‘No!’ Jack said, trying to swat at Ianto with both hands, though it was largely ineffective and more of a nuisance factor than anything else.
‘Hold still,’ Ianto commanded as he was battling to undo the knot in his tie which was surprisingly tricky, although that could have been because his fingers were slick with blood. The alien was dead, but not before it had managed to get off a few shots, one laser strike hitting Jack in the thigh, burning a hole all the way through, but leaving the tissue uncauterised, hence the huge amount of blood.
‘No,’ Jack complained. ‘Not the tie. I love that tie.’
Ianto finally managed to tug it free from around his neck and began trying to weave it under and round the top of Jack’s leg. ‘I know,’ he replied. ‘Me too, but it’s this or have your bleed out on me,’ he said, fumbling with adrenaline-fuelled trembling fingers to form a tight knot.
‘I’ll come back,’ Jack promised. ‘Your tie won’t.’
‘Yes, well it’s my tie, and I get to decide who lives and dies if that’s okay with you.’
Jack made to protest but passed out instead.
Ianto nodded. ‘Argument over.’
