Summary: Ianto is unnaturally cold. A double drabble.
‘I’ve been dunked in the bay in December and I've still never been as cold as I am now,’ Ianto complained, feeling as if he weren’t wearing his coat, scarf and thick leather gloves. He shook and his teeth were chattering uncontrollably making complaining difficult to enunciate.
‘It’s not that cold,’ Jack replied, giving him a frown of deep concern. ‘I think maybe you’ve come down with something.’ He came over and rested a hand on Ianto’s forehead, before pulling it back. ‘Ianto, you’re really hot.’
‘Thanks, but not cheering me up.’
‘No, I mean, of course you’re hot, but I mean you’re hot. Feverishly hot.’
Ianto shivered again. ‘Great. That’s all I need. A mountain of work to do and now I'm getting sick? I haven’t had time to get sick. I don’t even feel sick.’
Jack arched an eyebrow at him. ‘Except for the fact that you can’t stop shivering and you’ve got more layers than a french croissant?’
‘Okay, except for that,’ he conceded. ‘Still doesn’t help fix how I stop feeling so cold.’
Jack smirked. ‘I could think of a few things that might help.’
‘I’ll bet,’ Ianto replied, ‘but then you’ll catch my cold too.’
