Summary: Jack is having a moment. A double drabble.
‘Martha was gorgeous,’ Gwen said, beaming from ear to ear as they filtered out of the church and out onto the lawn.
‘Her husband didn't turn out too badly either,’ Ianto agreed. ‘You can always tell when a man has taken the time to get a tailored suit.’
‘They're going to be so happy together,’ Gwen said, clutching Rhys closer. ‘I love weddings. What about you, Jack? What did you think, or were you too busy deciding which of Tom's groomsmen you were going to flirt with first?’
‘It was nice,’ he finally replied, quietly and not at all his boisterous self.
‘Nice?’
‘Jack just needs a moment,’ Ianto explained, looping an arm through his. ‘He was getting all teary eyed in there and just needs some air.’
‘I was not getting teary!’ Jack replied, shrugging him off, cheeks flushing pink. ‘I just had dust in my eye, that's all.’
‘Very stubborn dust,’ Ianto said, smirking. ‘The kind that only turns up when the bride says “I do.” He patted Jack's hand. ‘Why don't you pop over to the little boys room and see if you can't flush it out?’
Jack scowled at the three of them. ‘I wasn't crying.’
