‘Three bedrooms, a nice spacious yard, quiet street…’ Rhys paused to nudge Gwen. ‘And not too far from the hub, either, eh? We should call the agent and let them know we’re serious about putting in a bid.’
Gwen raised a hand to quell his enthusiasm. ‘Now, now. No need for us to be rash.’
‘But it’s perfect, Gwen! It ticked just about everything on our list.’
‘It’s only the first house we’ve looked at, she reminded him. We don’t even know what we’re comparing it with.’
‘But…’
Gwen looped an arm through his. ‘Don’t worry. We’ve still got time.’
