Summary: Ianto isn't sure what the protocol is when he's at his sister's house. A double drabble.
Ianto slid his hands between his thighs as he perched on his sister's sofa, making sure there was at least twelve inches between himself and Jack. He didn't know what he was supposed to do with his hands so having them tucked away seemed the best thing.
Don't look at him, he told himself. His sister would be watching his every move. Making eye contact would get noticed.
‘What's wrong with you?’ Rhiannon asked, fixing him with a stern brown-eyed glare.
Ianto blinked. ‘Sorry?’
‘You're allowed to sit together, you know. Or have you broken up since I invited you over for tea last week?’
Ianto cast a wary glance in Jack's direction, receiving a set of raised eyebrows. Jack was taking his lead from Ianto as he'd been told, which made it the first time Jack had ever done so. ‘We, um… we're good,’ he replied sheepishly.
Rhiannon rolled her eyes at him. ‘You're allowed to snuggle in this house. It's not a crime.’
‘Not anymore,’ Jack added, giving Ianto a teasing smile.
Ianto looked at Rhiannon, then at Jack. ‘Fine,’ he said, shuffling closer. Jack wrapped arms around him and he couldn't help but smile.
Rhiannon nodded. ‘Better.’
