Summary: Tosh has been given a monster of an assignment this time around. A double drabble.
Tosh pushed her glasses back up onto her nose and sighed at Jack’s request. ‘I don't know how it is you think I’m just going to be able to magically make an entire spaceship disappear,’ she told him. ‘It landed on the roof of the Sennedd for heaven’s sake. Not like that isn’t a terribly public place with lots of witnesses.’
Jack shrugged off her comments. ‘It could have crash landed into the Sennedd building. That would have been way worse, and much harder to cover up. Besides, we’ve done what we can to retcon everyone who was there or nearby. The entire Labour government thinks they only just won the election now.’
Tosh looked at him in askance. It was all well and good to dose a few hundred politicians and tourists, but make every video and picture of a spaceship on top of one of the most iconic buildings in Cardiff just vanish? Not to mention it had only been gone a few minutes, having sat parked there for hours whilst they fixed a mechanical issue.
‘I may have to crash the whole internet this time,’ she warned him.
Jack patted her on the shoulder. ‘Whatever it takes.’
