Summary: Jack is furious at Ianto. A double drabble.


Jack put up with a lot of things from his team but outright defiance really made his blood boil. Who the hell did Ianto Jones think he was, bringing a cyberman into their midst and thinking it was anything less than a monster ready to kill them all. He'd thought Ianto was a smart guy, but his love for his girlfriend had blinded him to everything else.

He had the cheek to swing a punch at Jack and now to point a gun at Jack. A gun! That was the last straw. If he refused to go down there and kill Lisa then there was no saving him. He was either going down there to kill or be killed. Maybe that would show him the truth. He was either going to realise his girlfriend was dead or she was going to take him and convert him into one of them.

Of course Jack wasn't going to let that happen. It was bad enough having one cyberman to deal with; he didn't need two on his hands. If it came to it, Jack was prepared to kill them both. Some things were worth sacrificing for the sake of protecting the world.

Jack has every reason to be angry, but poor Ianto has been clinging to the hope of saving Lisa for so long that he can't see the truth.
