Summary: There's only so much Jack's dignity can handle. A double drabble.
‘It's cold in here tonight,’ Jack said, rubbing his hands up and down his arms.
‘Well, I did pay the heating bill,’ Ianto replied, ‘but it's hard to heat a place this big without there being cold spots. Your bunker isn't exactly conducive to trapping heat in it when the only entry point is that tiny little manhole up there.’
‘Point taken.’
‘But…’ Ianto said, moving toward the wardrobe. ‘There is something that'll warm you up.’
‘Don't I know it?’
Ianto grinned back. ‘Don't be so dirty-minded.’ He reached in and pulled out a tartan dressing gown he'd bought Jack months ago. ‘Here.’
Jack pulled a face. ‘I don’t do dressing gowns. Not even ones you buy me.’
‘But it's nice and fluffy and warm,’ Ianto insisted. He kept moving towards Jack, cornering him until he could slip it on, just like he did Jack’s greatcoat. ‘How’s that?’
Jack paused, preening the soft fabric. ‘Actually, it is kinda nice.’
‘Didn't I tell you you'd like it?’
‘I admit I'm occasionally wrong about things.’
Ianto smiled and then offered up the matching slippers that went with it.
Jack's calm expression turned to a dark scowl. ‘Lose the pom poms.’
‘Yes, sir.’
