Summary: Not everything that falls through the rift is junk.
'What do you suppose we should do with all this?' Jack said, poking a hand through one of the boxes on Ianto's desk. It was one of hundreds, full of odd Earth knick knacks, pen knives, table lamps, bits of old crockery and cricket balls. Junk, in other words.
'I thought I'd spend time cataloging the important alien stuff, but it's getting to the point where if we don't start dealing with the non alien stuff, we're going to need a bigger hub to store it all.'
'Maybe we should have Cardiff's biggest car boot sale.'
'We'd need a bigger car,' Ianto said, 'but selling some of it is a good idea.'
'Charity shop donation, more like,' Jack said, pulling out a kazoo and making a loud honking noise with it, just because he could. Ianto glared at him and he put it back, searching around for something else.
'Now that's got to be the ugliest vase I've ever seen,' he said, holding it up one handed, with all its mustard yellow bobbles and wobbly edges.
'Careful. That's a 1920's Fenton carnival glass vase. It's worth a small fortune to the right collector so you'd better than not break that.'
