'Hey,' Jack greeted. 'Got a minute?'

Ianto studied the clipboard in front of him. 'No, I don't think so.'

'Don't think so? What the hell does that mean?'

'My schedule, Jack. I have a million things to do and the only way I'm going to get through them all is to make a list and stick to it.'

Jack grabbed the clipboard, scrutinising the obscenely long and detailed list, with dates and expected completion times, a neat little tick box next to each, indicating what he'd done so far. As expected, there were no gaps in the ticks, nothing that had been skipped over because it was boring or unpleasant.

'Hang on,' Jack said, looking up. 'You're missing one very important thing from your list.'

'What?' Ianto exclaimed, grabbing it back and frantically scanning it. He was positive he'd checked and double-checked. He knew there was a stack of things to do, but he had them all jotted down.

'Nope. This is everything.'

'You're sure?' Jack said, raising his eyebrows.

'Well, I was,' Ianto replied, frowning.

'You don't think maybe I should have featured on there? Somewhere near the top?'

Ianto grinned. 'Oh, there's a whole other list for that.'
