Summary: Was one perfect day too much to ask?
Disclaimer: I don't own them.
Part of her wanted to cry at the unfairness of it all. Couldn't she just have this one special day with no interruptions? She loved her coworkers, but even they hadn't been invited. She had it all planned down to the last detail, having put up with the opinions of her family, her in-laws and even her best mates and bridesmaids. This was her day, to be enjoyed with all the people in her life that made it somewhat normal.
Not now, though. She just had to go out and do that one last job, didn't she? It was just a scratch; annoying because it would show in the wedding photos, but not nearly as much as this.
Bloody Torchwood! That was what Rhys would have said - what he would say when he found out?
She looked up again, seeing her beautiful dress hanging on the back of the door. Just one perfect day. That was all she wanted. Was this punishment for not inviting them? Or was it punishment for always putting her job ahead of everything else?
Jack had told her to keep a hold of her life and not let it drift. Would that she had listened.

Her coworkers hadn't been invited ???
Now you HAVE to write the scenes where she tells them they're not invited!
I gotta see that!
