'Is there really life on Mars?' Tosh said.

'Why do you sound so surprised?' Jack asked. 'After everything you've seen that exists out there in the universe, you find that hard to believe?'

'Just a little close to home, I guess. What are they like?'

'Not very nice. If there's one species you don't wanna mess with, it's the Martians. They love nothing more than conquering any world that looks at the them wrong way.'

'Gosh,' she said. 'That doesn't sound good.'

'Don't worry. They've been frozen underground for millenia. It'd take something pretty drastic to wake them up now.'
