It had been a long time since he'd lost himself in the bottom of the bottle, but tonight he wanted nothing more than to descend into oblivion and put the harsh reality of life far from his mind. He didn't want the consolation of his local friendly barmaid tonight.

Retcon would have done the job, without the shocking hangover, but Jack had them under lock and key. He thought he was protecting Ianto from self destruction, but he'd forgotten there were simpler ways to obliterate memories, even if only for a short while. Tonight he'd drink them all into nothingness.
