Tosh had thought she'd hit rock bottom when she looked at her life. Single, living alone, boring desk job, no friends. She didn't even have a cat.

Then those people had kidnapped her mother and forced her to steal classified information, and to build whatever it was that the plans were for.

Then she'd been caught, arrested for treason and sentenced to life imprisonment without trial. Lying on the hard concrete floor, she knew there was truly no further to fall. When they demanded she prepare herself for inspection, she couldn't move. What further punishment could they give her, now?
