You're right, I probably would have died.
Although.... as I was adding comments here after the show, I went to the bathrom before leaving and when I came back the second level was empty, and then a whole swathe of people were being lead past me, and I knew they had to be the VIPs. I was so tempted to try and just sneak into the back of the pack (thinking to myself, "as if they'd turn you away once you got there...")! But hey, I'm a wuss and a rule follower.

I felt bad for Scott because after promising he wouldn't, he dragged the poor boy on stage to sing Rhinestone Cowboy, pretty much all on his own except for the choruses. A few sour notes towards the end, but bless him, he's obviously picked up a few pointers, and not a bad effort.

Awww, poor Scott, but he's a brave boy, and he has an excellent voice coach ;)

I'd have been the same, it takes a special kind of nerve to try to sneak in somewhere, tempting though it may be I'd be too scared to try.

Start saving now for the next time, just put a little away every payday, or save your loose change or something ;)

Definitely. It's not a question of "can't afford" so much as it was a questions of "what do you mean they already sold out in the pre-sale? What pre-sale?"
I'm on the Hamer Hall email list now, so next time I'll be lying in wait like the obsessive stalker that I've become.... :)
God, though I'm back at work right now and I've only had about 2 hours sleep I was so wired I kept waking up wide awake. I'm really feeling it now. Still, I've cobbled together the playlist from last night as best I can remember it (21 songs that I know he definitely performed, though the order is a little sketchy). Hope that'll be enough to keep me awake, or at least wired for the next nine hours!

I'm not surprised you had trouble sleeping after that! So much excitement, plus the energy in the concert hall, takes quite a while to wind down from. Definitely worth the lack of sleep tjough, I'd imagine ;)

Good to know you won't miss out next time around. JB is very popular wherever he goes, so I guess selling out the ViP tickets fast was to be expected. It would be nice if they'd let you pre-book in advance, lol! You know, before JB even announces a date for another concert, a sort of 'reserve a ticket for the next time he comes, whenever that happens to be' deal.
