'D'you know what I'm looking forward to, Teaboy?' Owen asked.

'World peace?' he replied blithely, retrieving Owen's used mug.

'Har, har,' Owen said, leaning back. 'Bollocks to world peace. That's never gonna happen. The weekend however...'

'You're looking forward to the weekend? Whatever for?'

'What d'you mean what for? It's two whole days I don't have to put up with you lot.'

'Oh. Jack hasn't told you, then.'

'Told me what?'

'There's something going on up in the beacons. He's arranged for us to all go up there and check it out. The word camping was mentioned.'

'I hate you.'
