Notes: A heatwave in Cardiff is causing things to melt

Ianto lay on the sofa, head in Jack's lap, looking like a withered leaf, eyes closed, unable to find the energy to move a muscle.

'It's so hot I think I'm going to melt,' he said.

Jack had to agree. He'd been used to hot days living on Boeshane, but there was always that sea breeze cutting through the worst of it. This was just stifling, and highly unseasonal. After decades of wintery weather, even he was struggling to cope.

'We should install a pool,' Ianto said.

'And what would we do with it the other 364 days?'

'Who cares.'
