Ianto knows to expect rain in Wales. He's lived here his whole life and knows that eight days out of ten, you're going to get precipitation of one kind or another. Sometimes it's light; other times it's a deluge. It's at those times he prepares the  hub as best he can, sandbagging the tourist office and around the rift pool to prevent unnecessary damage.

What he can't remember from his childhood is when it ever rained anything but water.

As he pops open the umbrella and steps outside, he worries. If today it's raining spaghetti, will tomorrow be pasta sauce?
