Notes: Jack worries about the weather more than most.

Jack likes to keep an eye on the weather. Around these parts, it's a national pastime, knowing how the Welsh love to tell you when it's going to rain, which is pretty much all the time.

It's not the rain he's worried about. It's the odd little patches of weather that can't be explained. Will o' wisps that come out of nowhere, a sudden hailstorm that hits only one street. It's the sign of the Mara.

He's knows they're out there, watching, waiting. They're coming to steal children, but if they can kill Jack as well, so much the better.
