Notes: Gwen decides to just enjoy the sunshine with her hero.

When Rhys makes the suggestion they go for ice cream, she's tempted to tell him it's not really ice cream weather. Sure, it's sunny, but it's still cold, and the wind up off the bay  makes it colder still.

Then again, they've just survived another day at Torchwood. Rhys has taken a bullet for her without ever stopping to consider how stupid that was. If she never knew how lucky she was to have him, she does now. Treating him to an ice cream is the least she can do.

There's only one hero today, and it's not Jack Harkness.

Rhys was very brave, which just makes Gwen look worse for snogging him earlier while staring at Jack.
