Detective Swanson let out an annoyed breath as she watched the Torchwood team reappear from out under her police tape, and saunter back to their vehicle.

'You going to tell me what was going on in there?' she asked before Jack could shut the driver's door. She knew that by now any evidence was long gone. Another case destined for the growing unsolved pile.

'Sorry, it's confidential. Need to know.'

'It's my crime scene. I need to know.'

Jack leaned on the door frame. 'Trust me on this one, Detective. You really don't wanna know.'

'All a matter of opinion.'
