Summary: Ianto doesn't like being underwater, no matter what. A double drabble.

'I think I'm going to pass out,' Ianto puffed, breathing hard. He was going to drown down here. All the ways he could die working for Torchwood and he was going to die from something as boring as drowning.

'Ianto, just relax,' came the sound of Jack's voice. 'Breathe normally.'

'I can't breathe.' That's when he realised it wasn't drowning that was going to kill him, it was suffocation.

Jack's hands pressed on his shoulders, forcing him to the floor before he dropped himself.

'The pressure will subside,' Jack promised him. 'Lying down might help.'

Blood pounded in his head and he felt like his lungs were being crushed. God but he hated being underwater. Then there was a shuddering.

'Breathe,' came the instruction again.

'Can't.'

'We've leveled off at three thousand feet, it's not going to get any worse. We're here for the next two hours until we can go down further.'

'I wanna go back up.' He didn't care what was down here causing unusual signals.

'It's all a case of mind over matter. If you think you can't breathe, your body will react accordingly. Besides you're missing the most incredible view out there.'

'Pretty sure I'm not.'
