Jack burst out laughing when the team arrived back at the hub. Gwen and Owen were head to the toe in brightly coloured little specs of paper that looked distinctly like confetti, and as for Ianto, well, he'd never looked so sparkly.

'What happened to you guys?'

'We were a little late to stop that Arcadian bomb,' Gwen replied.

Jack frowned. 'I didn't know they had a party popper payload in them.'

'They don't. But it went off in a party supplies shop. We just got caught in the blast.'

'No one got hurt though, right?'

'Only pride,' Ianto replied.
