'What happened to your hand?' Jack asked, frowning as he saw Ianto's bandaged right hand.  

'I had to deal with the after effects of a very annoyed, maternally driven pterodactyl,' he replied, nursing the hand. 'She's been grumpy and snippy ever since we took that ostrich egg away from her.'

'But we gave her a replacement,' Jack argued. He'd spent ages trawling the archives, looking for something that was just the right shape, and not likely to explode.

'She's too smart for that. She knows it's a fake and she's determined to let everyone know her displeasure, no matter what.'
