Ianto was caught off guard by the plate mysteriously left on his desk.

He hated admitting he had a weakness, and such a simple one at that, but the layers of chocolate on chocolate, mousse on crispy caramel, made his mouth water just looking at it.

He didn't even have time to think about reaching across for it with the spoon left so tantalizingly next to it before someone came out of the darkness behind him.

Warm arms wrapped around his waist. 'Am I forgiven?'

Ianto watched the dessert, just out of reach. 'As apologies go, it's a good start.'
