Summary: Jacob thought he'd never find the perfect place.

The April skies above New York opened up, sending down sheets of rain, forcing the city's residents to flock for cover or pop up umbrellas.

The rain always made Jacob feel so melancholic these days, as if it were attached to some memory he couldn't recall. Or perhaps it was just that he'd been pounding the pavement for two weeks now, trying to find a place for his new bakery venture.

He huddled under a shopfront canopy waiting for the rain to ease when a curled up poster in the window caught his eye. "For lease. Good rates. Call Joe."

Aw. I was sad that Jacob and Queenie didn't get their HEA. At least, not yet. Let's hope for the future!
