'I'm not doing this anymore, d'you hear me Ianto?' Rhiannon warned him, giving him the eye from across the kitchen.

'What is it we're doing?' he asked, playing coy.

'Don't be smart. You know what I'm talking about. All these excuses as to why you can't bring this Jack of yours round for tea with us. He's surely not that busy. You just don't want us embarrassing you in front of him.'

'It's not that,' he promised. If anything, he was more worried about Jack embarrassing him.

'Then he had better be here next week, or you'll be going hungry.'
