'Ianto, do we have any blackberry jam?' Jack called out, head half stuck in the kitchen cupboard. He'd searched everywhere, but though the country homestead was well provisioned, he still couldn't find any.

'Why would we have blackberry jam?' he called back.

'For putting on toast, of course.'

'I bought peanut butter, marmite, marmalade and honey,' he replied. 'I didn't expect you'd want jam as well.'

'We're out in the country. The property is overrun with blackberry bushes. It's all I've been able to think about.'

'Well, maybe you should go out and pick some and make your own jam.'

Awww, poor Jack! I can see him making a huge amount of jam and then realising he doesn't have any jars for it.
