Notes: Ianto forces Jack to reorder his priorities.

'Stop,' Ianto ordered.

Jack spun to face him, gun gripped tightly. He was slightly out of breath from running. 'What? Why?'

'You'll need this before you go in,' Ianto said, handing him a hard hat, already having doffed one himself.

'We're chasing after a deadly alien. We don't have time for playing dress-up.' Even now it was scampering away out of sight between towers of scaffolding and  safety mesh.

'And it's just gone into the heart of this construction zone. Safety first,' Ianto insisted.

'Ianto, I can't die, and neither can you. Who cares about safety?'

'I do. Hat. Now.'

Sensible Ianto! They may not be able to die permanently, but dying at all would slow them down!
