Notes: Jack couldn't be less fussy about what he eats, so long as it's not swede.

'I don't think I've ever seen anyone so excited eating sausages in all my life,' Ianto said, watching Jack eat with the most rapturous pleasure.

He felt bad that it was all he had in the freezer. They should have called for takeaway, but Jack had said he didn't care what Ianto cooked up, so long as it wasn't mashed swede. Plus, it was breakfast and he didn't think Jubilee were open yet.

'I can't remember the last proper meal I had,' Jack said. After last night and the year that had never been, he'd have happily eaten them raw.

I think Jack is just so happy to be home and have everything back the way it was he'd even eat mashed swede if Ianto served it up to him.
